This piece references the architectural remnants of communities that have been lost to rising sea levels. It has been constructed using hard slab construction, layered with porcelain slip, oxides, glazes and fired multiple times. The non clay component is metal hardware cloth, covered with unfired porcelain paperclay with dyes.
