'The Deeps' is a sculptural wall work tracing how support accumulates over time, buoying weight and keeping us from going under. The work moves from distance to immersion: a figure held by waves that serve as both protection and persistence. The fiber is painted and woven directly through warps sliced into the canvas itself, making the support and the image inseparable.
