This painting was inspired by a quiet afternoon spent painting alongside my daughter. As she chose her favorite shades of pink, I found myself thinking of echinacea flowers - one of the plants that always reminds me of summer and home. Echinacea grew abundantly where I grew up in Ukraine and was valued not only for its beauty but also for its healing qualities. As I painted, memories of those landscapes blended with the joy of creating beside my daughter. The result is a reflection on the connection between generations, the memories we inherit, and the new ones we create. Through expressive color and loose brushwork, the painting celebrates the tenderness found in both nature and family.
