Another work created while in France. This piece was out of how annoyed I was by a fellow resident talking nonstop about Texas while we were driving through some of the most gorgeous landscapes France has to offer. So, to play with the opposite nature of beauty and annoyance, I asked them (a writer) to provide me with a poem they wrote about Marfa, to include in the painting while using the colors and energy of the landscape of Luberon.
