In Lapland, everything felt vast, white, and quiet. And there I was, right in the middle of it all, wearing this almost painfully bright orange jacket. At some point, my friend told me she would never have to look for me. I was always easy to find. A small splash of color on the ski slopes, between the trees, surrounded by snow. At first, I found it funny, but then I started to see something beautiful in it. Like an anchor in a white emptiness. This series was created from that feeling.
