An abstract painting of many circles both painted and collage including mokuhanga prints with oil, acrylic, and spray paint on canvas. I created repeated circular forms using everything from the trace and gestural circle drawings to stencils, coin frottage and metal washers. The transparency of the layers creates a luminous and playful surface.
