If Freedom Was a Person is painted fromva simple question: what would freedom look like if it had a form? The work presents legs easily moving and floating in purple clouds to represent an expressive life without worries. The legs dont strive or struggle, they just simply exist. With the purple atmosphere I ignore the ordinary rules of weight and gravity. Hence within it, freedom appears as just calmly flowing, and as a natural state of being. This painting is my attempt to give freedom a body, to make it something, an existence that can be seen and experienced.
