Left on Read Since Antiquity is part of my Subway Sonnets series, inspired by the layered conversations once found on New York's graffiti-covered subway advertisements. Here, Artemis steps out of mythology and into the present, surrounded by fragments of the city, handwritten notes, and contemporary imagery. The work imagines history as an ongoing conversation where every generation leaves its mark. Acrylic, ink transfer, oil and pigment sticks on stretched canvas. UV protective varnish displayed in an aluminum float frame, ready to hang.
