This artwork is apart of a larger series called: When the Ego Returns: If we were to peel back the layered veil from you eyes, you'd just might go mad. For those who have peeked behind the curtain know that this realm is heavily guarded by the EGO. Without your protective EGO, you would probably be dead. So, it makes complete sense to keep your mind sealed and reframe from taking off your shield, let the show just go on. However, as for the risk takers out there, who seek a moment of absolute truth, they will tempt madness. They will understand that you can't have peace without wrath. The ecstatic lifestyle will commence. The highs are Everest and the lows are the deep blues of the unknown. Though this is not when madness arises, it happens when the EGO returns. Comes home to find the curtains torn. Now, attempting to sew it back together.
