Enfold Series explores material as a way to think, remember, and record, using cut and folded bags to create sculptural paintings that echo the contours of metaphorical landscapes. The folds, shaped through tension and release, form a visual language over which my figures—friends and imagined personas undulate. Painted in monochrome acrylic, sewn into the folded surfaces, and accented with sequins and rhinestones, these figures reflect adaptation to place and the complexities of lived experience.
